With his awarded graduate film KEVIN BARRY (1st KODAK CAMERA AWARD GERMANY 2003) Felix Cramer (born in Germany) started his career.
For the short NUTS&BOLTS he was nominated at the Camerimage cinematography festival in Poland, and he won the KODAK BEST STUDENT CINEMATOGRAPHY AWARD (Houston) for THE SURPRISE. He was nominated for the GERMAN CAMERA AWARD 2010 for the world's first ever real-time youth crime thriller series RACE AGAINST TIME (also nominated for the International EMMY AWARD), and got a GERMAN CAMERA AWARD nomination for the TV drama PARADIES 505 in 2014. Currently PLATONOW gained vast recognition at the Vienna Independent Film Festival 2017 and won the Cinematography Award beside Best Feature Award.
The film SMILE OF THE MONSTERFISH marked the beginning of Felix Cramer's international career as Director of Photography for motion pictures and TV films, and his work now encompasses over 40 feature-length productions in various genres, as well as over 60 commercials, music videos, TV series, documentaries and short films.
Since 2013, Felix Cramer has been a member of the BVK (German Society Of Cinematographers)
